About this Course

The beginner's course is an ideal starting point if you're thinking about learning to sew or even if you want to brush up on your existing skills before moving on to more advanced projects.

Learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine, how to use a flat pattern, basic stitches and foundationary sewing techniques. Then apply what you've learned to creating a simple garment using a fabric of your choice. Click here to have a look at the choice of garment patterns we offer to students taking this course.

The beginner's course has become so popular that we now offer an Evening Course and an Afternoon Course.

"I have loved the classes so much and have learned so much. I am thrilled with my dress and can't wait to make more. Cassandra is a fantastic, patient teacher and creates a wonderful environment in which to learn" - Laura Tabor
